They gave up five straight goals before they even showed up, completely lost their defensive structure, and got bailed out only by Colorado easing up. The kids are feeling it, and that youthful swagger is starting to rub off on the rest of the group. There’s a spark in San Jose right now — not reflected in the standings yet, but absolutely visible on the ice.
