Because of that, we are getting BYU at a number we consider favorable. For the Cougars, this is the kind of matchup that can validate their status as a true national contender. Beating a blue-blood like UConn on a neutral-yet-local floor for the Huskies provides the résumé boost they are hunting for, and the motivation edge is firmly in their corner. The talent gap is not wide enough to justify the perception gap, and that is where the value lies.
