7:10 PM EST. Should Bailey Ober (RHP - MIN) and the Twins be spotting a price like this to the defending World Series champions? Ober is coming off a rough outing in his last start in which he took the loss against Cleveland last Saturday. Ober gave up five runs on eight hits and struck out four in 4 IP, taking him 91 pitches to get those 12 outs. The Twins may have scored 10 runs versus the Nationals on Wednesday, but outside of that outburst, over their last nine games, the Twinkies haven’t scored more than three runs in a game and were actually shut out twice. Versus RHP, the Twins are second last in the bigs in average and just 26th in OBP. Even if Ober pitches well today, his team is as limp as a wet noodle.

Jose Urena is getting at least one more look in the Rangers rotation with the injuries to both Dane Dunning (shoulder) and Nathan Eovaldi (groin) extending into this weekend. Urena has made three starts so far this season, and in those 17.2 IP, he has 24 Ks and a WHIP of 1.17. Urena allowed just one run on four hits with one walk in his start versus the Angels last Saturday in which he lasted six innings. Urena is a groundball pitcher and has posted an elite groundball rate of 51.2% thus far and sports an xERA of 3.63 to back up his surface number of 3.29. In short, Urena has been really good and he’s grossly underpriced here.
