Jordan Montgomery (LHP - TEX) has adjusted well to life in Texas, as he’s now posted four straight quality starts, after allowing just one run over six innings in a win over the Angels las Wednesday, in which he punched out nine Angel hitters. In three starts with Texas, Montgomery has 20 Ks to just 2 BBs in 18 innings pitched. Tonight he draws arguably the coldest team in baseball since the All-Star break.

Slad Cecconi (RHP - ARI) has just two major league starts under his belt and to say the results have been modest would be kind. In those 10.1 innings pitched which includes a 1.2 IP appearance in relief, Cecconi has just 7 Ks with 4 BBs, while also posting an xERA of 5.95.

The Rangers are so superior to the Diamondbacks in every way that the run line is a must-play here at +100 or thereabouts.
