7:05 PM EST. The Phillies will go with Ranger Suarez (LHP - PHI) for his second turn of the season. We aren't going to spend too much time on Suarez because his 2023 sample size is so small, but we'll note that in AAA this season, he has thrown six different pitches in his minor league starts. His four-seamer clocks in at 93 MPH, his sinker at 92 MPH, and he rang up a 24% swing-and-miss rate on his change-up.

We know what we are getting with Marcus Stroman (RHP - CHC), and at this price, against a young arm in his second start, Stroman looks like a steal. Stroman is enjoying an uptick in his strikeouts this season, and we know he's going to eat up innings like he always does. In what appears to be a 50/50 proposition, the Cubs and Stroman are definitely a play.
