7:20 PM EST. Nick Pivetta (RHP - BOS) is a serviceable starter, which suits us fine today because we are here to continue our attack on Charlie Morton (RHP - ATL). Pivetta has 34 strikeouts in 30.2 innings pitched. Before we get to Morton, we'll note that the Red Sox have the best average and On-Base Percentage (OBP) in all of MLB versus right-handed pitching, as well as the second-best Slugging Percentage. The BoSox are sandwiched between the Rays (.504) and Dodgers (.469) in the top 3.

OK, back to Chuck Morton, who just cannot be favored at an inflated price like this against a lineup (in a hitter's park) that can put up a crooked number on any given night. As for Morton, he is walking more batters than ever with 15 free passes in 34.2 innings. Furthermore, the dude posts a 1.44 WHIP and has an xERA of 5.26, which is much higher than his tidy surface ERA of 3.38. Our fade on this stiff continues.
