Houston +115 over Tampa Bay

6:40 PM EST. The Rays are going to roll out their patent bullpen game, with Calvin Faucher (RHP - TAM) expected to get the start with Josh Fleming (LHP - TAM) to follow. Fleming’s opportunity comes after Taj Bradley was sent down to AAA-Durham. The Rays are a ridiculous 20-4 to start the season, which is not sustainable. A correction to their win-loss record is coming, and while we cannot predict when and where, we are going to attack when the right situation presents itself.

Houston snapped Tampa's unbeaten home streak last night and that means Tampa's instensity figures to be down after a big exhale now that the streak is over.

Hunter Brown (RHP - HOU) graduated with plus-plus velocity, which has translated into the majors, as he brings a 96 MPH fastball to the mound with him into this start. Thus far, Brown is 2-0 through four starts, and one could argue he’s been a tad unlucky so far with a Batting Average of Balls in Play (BABIP) of .323. In addition to his heater, Brown’s ability to induce groundballs is encouraging with his 46.8% groundball rate this season. There may be room for some improvement there, as Brown posted an elite 68% groundball rate over 20.1 innings in 2022. There is a lot to like with Brown on the mound behind an Astros's team is every bit as good as the Rays. As the pooch, there is great value to be had here on the World Series champions.
