8:07 PM EST. The Hurricanes have played three straight overtime games, as have the Panthers, who have actually gone to OT in three of their last four games. The Panthers have won each of those overtime games (the ‘Canes have gone 1-2), which is an incredible run in what is supposed to be a 50/50 proposition. The Cats were outshot in all but one of those four OT thrillers, and so the hot hand of Sergei Bobrovsky has kept his team in games they could have easily lost, had a bounce or two not gone Florida's way. So far, in two games against the Hurricanes, the Panthers have been outshot by a total of 103-68, including 38-26 in Game 2.

As purveyors of value, we cannot help but notice the Panthers are now favored on their home ice after being a significant underdog to the Bruins and Maple Leafs in Rounds 1 and 2. Their stock and, of course, Bobrovsky's stock is through the roof. While we do have a pending series wager on the 'Canes to come back and win this series, we are not going to pass up the value on them tonight as a very fierce invader that is battle-tested and, most importantly, underpriced.
