Buffalo +112 over Florida

1:07 PM EST. OT Included. Nothing like a Monday afternoon game in Buffalo, eh? Aside from being taken out of any normal routine, the Panthers remain one of the most beatable teams in the NHL and the proof is in the pudding. Florida is five points out of a playoff spot and they’ll now try to close that gap without their top goaltender, as Spencer Knight was placed on the IR with an undisclosed injury. Knight has taken some playing time away from veteran Sergei Bobrovsky and has a save percentage that is 13 points higher than Bobrovsky. The only reason Bob plays is because Florida is paying him a fortune. Additionally, the Panthers are 6-17 against top-16 competition, thus, they have been beating up on the NHL’s marshmallows. Florida has four victories in their last 12 games. Three of those four wins were against Montreal, Arizona and Vancouver. The other was against Colorado missing about 10 regulars. Florida’s last game was a 4-3 win over Vancouver in a game they trailed in twice, were outshot in and out-chanced in.

We’re not going to discuss the Sabres much but do know they’re coming off a 5-3 victory in Nashville to snap a three game losing streak. The last two games of said losing streak were to Seattle and Winnipeg, who are a combined 13-1 over their past 14 games. Incidentally, Buffalo was in a position to win both those games but all this market sees is wins and losses, which continues to provide us with opportunities like this. Florida favored in Buffalo is absurd. Buffalo in regulation is also great, great value.
