Bryce Young just authored the worst statistical game of his career, throwing for 54 yards in a 27-10 loss to Seattle. He’s topped 200 passing yards only three times all season, and this offense has lived on razor-thin margins. Six of Carolina’s eight wins have come by three points. That’s not dominance — that’s variance and survival. The rushing attack that carried them earlier has slowed, and if Tampa can force Young to throw into obvious passing situations, that’s where this whole thing can unravel fast.

Tampa Bay, for all its warts, is still the more complete offense and the more dangerous passing team. Baker Mayfield hasn’t been clean, but the Bucs have lost four straight by four points or fewer — and that matters. This isn’t a team getting run off the field. It’s a team making a handful of costly mistakes at the worst possible moments. Those are correctable, especially at home, especially in a revenge spot after losing 23-20 in Charlotte three weeks ago. Todd Bowles admitted they didn’t manage that first matchup properly. That kind of public accountability usually precedes adjustment.
