Ohio State comes in undefeated, defending national champion, ranked #1 in the nation, and owns the single best against-the-spread record in college football at 8-1-1. They have been covering like clockwork, week after week, and when a team of this profile is cashing tickets at that rate, they inevitably reach a point where they become inflated. Yes, this game is at the Big House. Yes, the emotional intangibles lean heavily toward the Wolverines, who would love nothing more than to derail Ohio State’s perfect season and have owned them in recent times. All the pressure in the world sits on Ohio State’s shoulders—they’re the defending national champions, they’re undefeated, and they’re expected to keep rolling, and the Wolverines have haunted them.
