We acknowledge the Lumberjacks "shocked the world" yesterday and knocked off #1 seed Eastern Washington, but there is a perception in the market that Northern Arizona - hmmm, how can we make this PG? - exhausted their modest resources in that 81-80 win over the "best" team in the Big Sky.

We do not see the Lumberjacks as a one-and-done. The price in their game against the Eagles (+7½) suggested that NAU had a great chance to win that game, and they did. You know what this line tonight suggests? The 'Jacks can win again today, too. The opening line of 4½ must have looked like low-hanging fruit because the market took a stand, and this line has climbed to the price you see now. That is not insignificant.

The closer this line inches to the 7½ points that Eastern Washington was spotting on Sunday, the more value there is to be had, as the #4 Grizzlies are not the #1 Eagles. Both teams played comparably difficult non-conference schedules and ground through a full Big Sky slate. The Eagles went 16-2 in the conference, and 22-10 overall. The Griz were a middling 10-7 in Big Sky play and went 17-13 overall. What would the line be today if the Eagles were playing the Grizzlies on a neutral court? We suspect it would be more than one possession. This is tremendous value that we aren't going to pass up.
