Wyoming -5 over Air Force

10:00 PM EST. Air Force is exceeding their non-existent expectations after posting a 13-14 record when they were supposed to be nothing but dregs. Much has been made about the Falcons' 9-4 non-conference run, but a closer look shows that they played the third weakest non-conference schedule in the nation (361-of-363). However, to an unsuspecting market that may not look beyond the wins and losses on the surface, the Falcon’s taking back a nice pile of points against an eight-win team is going to look pretty damn appealing. When you consider Air Force has already knocked off the Cowboys this season (81-73, at the end of January), the points being offered here look like low-hanging fruit. Do not bite,

Wyoming is arguably the most disappointing team in the Mountain West, as expectations were high after their breakout season a year ago. Nobody saw the Cowboys coming from their projected position at the back of the pack to punch the program's first ticket to The Big Dance in two decades. Wyoming also posted its highest win total (24) in seven or so decades. With great success comes great expectation, but the Cowboys are just 8-17 this season, with a puny 3-10 record in the Mountain West. Wyoming’s stock is in the toilet.

The time to buy is right now. Wyoming has been ravaged by injuries all season, which has forced it to use as many different starting lineups as any team in the country. Predictably, that has led to a lack of continuity and a rough few months (especially on defense) for a team that is loaded with talent. Truth be told, Wyoming has gone 1-6 in games decided by six points or less. That’s just bad luck but over the last 10 days, the Cowboys got two more contributors back from injury. Furthermore, coach Jeff Linder is one of the nation’s most underrated head coaches and you'll see that on full display tonight with a healthy roster. This is truly a bargain price on the vastly superior team
