Indiana +6½ over Philadelphia

7:10 PM EST. The Pacers are quietly playing some pretty good ball right now, with wins in four of their last six games, while also posting a 4-2 record Against the Spread across that time. The best of those wins was a 139-123 victory over Milwaukee last time out. The Pacers also beat the Bulls, who they are trying to chase down for a play-in spot.

While it’s not the pace the visiting 76ers are currently on, it does have Indiana buzzing around that 10th position, which is good enough to sneak into the play-in portion of the NBA postseason. The Pacers are tied with the Wizards and both are just a ½ game back of the Bulls, with nobody else in front of them and the Magic a clear four games back. It looks like it's going to be a five-horse race with the Hawks, Raptors, Bulls, Wizards, and Pacers fighting it out for three of the four Play-In Tournament spots available.

We faded the 76ers yesterday in Charlotte, where Philadelphia was a 10½-point favorite. The Sixers won that game 121-82, so a thorough analysis is not going to be necessary here. It was the easiest wager in the Association to cash in last night’s slate of games, as the 76ers held the Hornets to just 28 second-half points.

As we wrote yesterday, the Sixers are rolling and are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. Another huge win by an eye-popping 39 points, and an easy trip to the pay window only further drives up Philly’s stock. It’s with that in mind that we are going to come right back and fade the Sixers, spotting road points again.
