Sacramento +4 over Phoenix

9:10 PM EST. The Suns remained one of the hottest teams in the league after whacking Oklahoma City 132-101 on Thursday night as an 11-point favorite. That win and cover comes on the heels of Phoenix knocking off the Mavericks, 130-126, in Dallas where the Suns were a 2-point favorite. We hope you enjoyed former teammates Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving facing off in Big D because you might not see it again, as Durant, the Suns' big trade deadline acquisition, is back on the shelf for at least a month. Durant did not play in that clobbering of the Thunder, but now that it's official, dude is going to miss significant time. The bloom has come off that rose. The air has been let out of their tires. The party is over, and there’s nothing left but the crying.

If you were wondering if the Kings are still flying under the radar, this line is proof that the market is still not taking Sacramento seriously. That suits us fine here, as we are able to back a healthy young team that is playing some damn good ball right now. The Kings might have a middling 2-2 record Against the Spread (ATS) over their last four games, but we see little shame in losses to the Timberwolves and the Clippers. In their last two games, the Kings won and covered in games against the Pelicans and Knicks, with that 122-117 final against New York coming last time out.

We'd argue the wrong side is favored here, but rather than just make that point, we're going to back it up with a wager. The Kings are very capable of winning this game. This number suggests as much. However, we'll scoop up the inflated points, as they present tremendous value and a nice safety net in case we might need them.
