10:10 PM EST. The Kings return home for a four game stand after a modest two game road trip that was preceded by five straight games at home. That’s a lot of time to spend in a small bubble like Sacramento, where you are the only team in town. Beyond the Kings having to unpack their bags for the week, they are also on a run of five wins and covers, however, those trips to the pay window came against Orlando, Houston (twice), San Antonio and the Lakers. Not exactly a group of world beaters.

The Thunder are on a nice run as well, but they are still not getting the respect they should be. Since the calendar turned to 2023, Oklahoma City has knocked off Boston (150-117), Philadelphia (133-114), Chicago (124-110) and Brooklyn (112-102), all by double digits. OKC’s only loss in their last nine games was by one point, on the road in Miami. If the Thunder played in any other market or had anyone in their starting lineup that had some star power, they would be getting a ton of hype. Instead, OKC is still flying under the radar. Nobody is talking about this team. As the underdog, the Thunder are a great value in a game they can absolutely win outright. That's our play.
