The market is buying hook, line, and sinker.

Let’s pump the brakes. This matchup on paper is a wash — Kevin Gausman versus Bryce Miller is a coin-flip. The price reflects that reality perfectly. What doesn’t line up is the public perception. The narrative has swung so far in Toronto’s favor that you’d think they’d already punched their ticket to the World Series. But this series is tied, not over, and the Jays’ perceived “momentum” has been baked into the number, and yet they still aren’t favored here.
