7:30 PM ET. The Redblacks have become a market darling over the past month, largely on the back of Dustin Crum’s box score heroics. Last week in Vancouver, he went 30-for-35, threw for 307 yards, added two rushing scores, and didn’t throw a pick. Looks great on paper. The reality? Ottawa still lost by double digits, gave up seven sacks, and coughed up a fumble that went the other way. Crum was pressured relentlessly, and those inflated numbers were the by-product of trailing the entire game. That is the kind of “performance” that props up a team’s perception without actually changing its ceiling.

Winnipeg’s reputation, meanwhile, has bottomed out. Three straight losses, turnovers galore, and Zach Collaros on the shelf has stripped this team of market respect. They’re now being priced like a bottom-feeder despite being tied for a playoff spot and having far more roster talent than their record suggests. The Bombers racked up 157 rushing yards last week in Hamilton and moved the chains with ease; it was giveaways that flipped the game. Turnover margins tend to swing, but efficiency on the ground and sustained drives are far more telling.

The first meeting between these two wasn’t remotely as close as the 30-27 final. Winnipeg led 17-0, 20-3, and 27-10 before collapsing late. Ottawa needed a miracle 117-yard missed field goal return to tie it in the dying minute. Winnipeg still escaped with a Castillo kick at the horn, but the real takeaway was how thoroughly the Bombers controlled 55 minutes of football.

Now Winnipeg is catching a price to beat a team they already beat once and should have buried the first time. Collaros is trending toward a return, Brady Oliveira is in peak form, and the Bombers’ offensive line finally showed some bite. Ottawa, on the other hand, has been sacked 13 times in two games and could shuffle quarterbacks if Dru Brown is deemed ready. That’s not stability—it’s chaos.
