10:07 PM EST. OT included. The Stars roll into Seattle for the final game of a four-game road trip in which they have won all three games so far and six in a row overall. Since February 29, the Stars are a blistering 11-2-0, but a closer look shows that they have been feasting on some pretty weak competition with three wins over the Sharks (two of which came in extra time, by the way) and Coyotes, and another against Anaheim.

Coming into tonight, Dallas is three points up on Colorado and seven points up on Winnipeg for first in the Central Division, and they have the mighty Connor McDavid and the Oilers coming to Big D for a visit on Wednesday. That means after tonight, the Stars have three days off to get ready for that marquee matchup.

Forget the Kraken, as they can beat anyone they come up against, as we are instead going to look at just how inflated the Stars' stock is at the moment. Looking back at the Kraken’s home games this season, they were +137 against Vegas back on March 12, +109 against the Jets on March 9, +140 to Edmonton on March 2, and +118 to Vancouver on February 22. Tonight the Kraken are a bigger underdog to Dallas than all of those teams. In fact, we looked back at every Seattle home game played this season and found that only once were they this big of an underdog, and that was against Florida back in mid-December. This is the definition of an overlay.
