As is often the case in college hoops, the wins and losses are not all equal, as the Ramblers have taken the easy road with just the 267th most difficult schedule in the nation according to KenPom. Indiana State sits third last in the MVC, and it's been a rough couple of weeks for the Sycamores. Larry Bird's alma mater is just 1-4 both straight up and against the spread in its last five games, which isn't going to make you many friends in the market. An embarrassing 81-62 home loss to Missouri State on Tuesday night was the cherry on the Sycamores' shit sundae, but that double-digit beat down might just be what these guys need to snap out of their funk. The Sycamores played a pretty tough non-conference schedule, the 118th most difficult in the nation according to KenPom. Indiana State actually started their season with a huge win over Indiana and beat the Ramblers in Chicago to start 2018, but it's been mostly downhill since.

We are in the business of buying low, and the Sycamores fit the bill. Indiana State is coming off a 19-point loss, but before that, their previous seven defeats came all came by single digits. The Sycamores are far more battle tested than the Ramblers, who padded their record by chewing the fat and feasting on weak non-conference competition (327th ranked sked out of 351 schools). Do not be fooled by Loyola-Chicago's 20 wins and its first-place standing in the MVC. This is a paper champion and we expect the Sycamores to take full advantage and win this game on its home floor.
