1:35 PM EST. The Angels have been outscored 24-7 in their first two games. It’s not even April and the Angels bullpen is already over-taxed.

Tyler Wells (RHP - BAL) returns to the Orioles rotation to start the season with Kyle Bradish on the IL. Wells was solid as a starter last season, and this spring, as he allowed two earned runs over 14.2 innings while striking out 11. Strikeouts may be volatile for Wells, but he should be able to limit the damage versus an Angels’ offense that Corbin Burnes and Grayson Rodriguez shut down in the first two games.

Reid Detmers (LHP - LAA) kicks off his 2024 season in a tough matchup against the Orioles. In his career, Detmers has shown substantial strikeout upside but he’s also shown the ability to give up plenty of runs, which could be a problem against a potent Orioles’ offense that cannot wait to get back to the park today.
