A closer inspection of Utah’s success shows cracks in the foundation.

Vancouver, meanwhile, is the real deal on the road. A 10-2-1 record away from home speaks volumes about their ability to rise to the occasion. Thatcher Demko’s return to form is massive. After shaking off the rust in his first two starts, Demko shut down Colorado on Monday with a 30-save gem. Let’s not forget this is a Vezina finalist goaltender who had 35 wins and five shutouts last year before his injury. When Demko is dialed in, Vancouver’s ceiling skyrockets and the added bonus of a plus-price tag makes the ‘Nucks too good to pass up.
