Vegas +109 over Florida

8:05 PM EST. Somebody, please scrape Sergei Bobrovsky off the mat and ring the bell because we are ready for round three. Ding, ding! With eight goals allowed in the first two games of this series, we see no reason to let up as 'Bob' has fully reverted to his pre-playoff form as the most overpaid goaltender in this league. Those eight goals came across just a game and a half, as 'Bob' was given the hook after allowing four goals on 13 shots in Game 2 before giving way to Alex Lyon, who followed up with a pitiful performance as well, allowing three more goals on 15 shots. Lyon obviously didn't do enough to vanquish Bobrovsky from the net this time, and so it will be the $10-million man getting the nod.

We're never ones to say, 'We told you so,' but when it comes to Bobrovsky, we're going to relish in this one just a little, as we've been fading this stiff for years. If there has been a more overrated goaltender in this league over the last decade, we don't know who it is. It's too bad the Panthers couldn't have traded Bobrovsky immediately after the Eastern Conference Final because his value will never be higher. Perhaps the Cats can sucker a team desperate for a goalie into thinking 'Bob' is their man, but if we were the Oilers, Senators, or any other potential contender that is looking for a netminder, we wouldn't kick the tires on this old Jalopy.

As for Game 3, do not expect a bounceback from a basketcase like Bobrovsky, as his time as the Cinderella of this ball is over. The Golden Knights are firing on all cylinders, and they cannot wait to unload on Bobrovsky again.

It's been all hands on deck for Vegas, as they've been forced to switch goaltenders from Laurent Brossoit to Adin Hill. Vegas has also gotten its goal-scoring from 18 different players, which is a testament to just how deep the quality runs on that team. As an underdog, there might not be a better value bet on the board tonight than the Golden Knights.
