8:07 PM EST. OT included. Even though the Jackets have a brutal record of 13-28-2, if you sleep on them, they’ll burn you. The Jackets' last five wins were against Detroit, Carolina, Chicago, Los Angeles and Calgary. There are at least two elite teams in there and one very good one. There is a great chance that Columbus catches the Preds taking a bit of a breather here, which is the main reason we’re getting behind them.

Nashville played last night and beat the Flames 2-1. That was an important win and now the Preds will play their 5th game in seven nights, fourth game in six, third game in four days and the tail end of back to back. Additionally, the Preds will play perhaps their biggest rival next game when they travel to St. Louis to face the Blues, a team they will be battling against for one of the final playoff spots.

On their best day, Nashville is beatable. Juuse Saros stole the show and the win last night, as he often does, as Calgary fired away 40 shots on net and scored once. High danger scoring chances were 15-4 in favor of Calgary, thus Nashville was chasing the puck for 60 minutes last night. Tonight, they will surely give Saros the night off and we would not be a bit surprised if Nashville took the night off too. Great spot the Jackets to lace up their Blue Suede skates and get outta here with a win.
