San Jose is favored here because the Coyotes stock is so low. It’s so low because nobody watches them, not even the local media. It’s so low because the oddsmakers have all the data to see which teams are getting bet and which are not. Nobody is walking around the casino lobby saying, “I love Arizona tonight”. What time does the book shop open”? The WNBA season that starts in May gets more local coverage than the Coyotes.

San Jose’s last three road wins came against Chicago, Anaheim and Montreal. That’s three road wins since November 29th and it came against the three worst teams in the league. The Sharkies have five wins overall in their last 20 games and today they’re favored like they’re Colorado at home. It’s absurd.

First, Arizona is not bad. They’ve been pesky all year with several decent victories. Second, Arizona has played just 13 home games all year and have lost just four times in regulation. They have recent home wins over Toronto, Colorado, Los Angeles, the Islanders, Philadelphia and Boston all within the last month. We have no idea what’s going to happen here but if we’re playing value, Arizona has to be played here. Period. End of story,
