Does anyone even understand the extreme luck it takes for a team in such a luck-driven outcome sport to not lose in regulation in 20 straight games? It’s off the charts. We’re not using the due to lose angle here but we will point out that the Bruins are grossly overpriced here. That’s what happens when you never lose and are loaded with talents like Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Johnny Bucyk, Ken Hodge, Wayne Cashman and Gerry Cheevers. Terry O’Reilly will beat the shit out of anyone that looks at him the wrong way but we’ll point out once again that Buffalo can play and beat anyone, including Bobby Orr and the Bruins. 

Enter Buffalo’s famed “French Connection” of  Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin and René Robert, who might just be the best line in this league and they are just getting started. Throw the returning Gerry Desjardins between the pipes and you’ve got yourself a future contender for years to come. Motivation will not be an issue, as the Sabres test themselves against the best with a chance to ruin Beantown’s ringing in of the New Year without a regulation loss. 

In their current form, Buffalo should never, never never be taking back a price like this against anyone not even if this was 1971 and Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, et all were playing.
