7:08 PM EST. OT Included. We backed the Islanders in their last game at Dallas on Saturday night, and we are not going to come off them in this spot tonight. New York has now dropped two straight, but the Isles are playing well. Since November 7th, they are the seventh-ranked side in puck possession, by contrast, the Maple Leafs are 12th in that same span.

Toronto has won three of its last four games, but they were outshot in three of them, including Saturday night against Buffalo, 34-to-23. The Leafs were a -268 favorite in that game, and won easily, 5-2. As is the case in many NHL games, one team had a hot goalie and the other didn’t. We can’t predict which goalie will be the one to take that title tonight, but we know the Islanders are going to get their chances.
