Indianapolis +4½ -110 over Denver

4:25 PM ET. The Broncos are riding high with three straight wins, putting themselves in the driver’s seat for an AFC Wild Card spot. Their 8-5 record has revitalized a fan base starved for success, but while Sean Payton has orchestrated a dramatic turnaround, there is a premium to be paid on the Broncs here in Week 15.

Denver’s recent form, while impressive, has been propped up by some favorable circumstances. Their three-game winning streak includes victories over Cleveland (with Jameis Winston under center), Las Vegas, and Atlanta which are teams with glaring flaws. The Broncos' defense remains their backbone, but cracks have started to show, as they allowed Winston to throw for nearly 500 yards in Week 13 and the Raiders QBs to throw for over 300 yards in Week 12.

While Denver’s offense has undoubtedly improved, let’s not crown them as world-beaters just yet. They’ve leaned heavily on turnovers and timely big plays, which can be hard to sustain. The Broncos rank eighth in takeaways, but relying on turnovers to fuel your team is a fool's errand as those “luck-based” plays usually even out over time.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis is still in the hunt for a playoff berth, but this game is their season. At 6-7, the Colts need to win out and get some help, but don’t let that record fool you—they’ve been competitive all year. Their last outing, a gutsy 25-24 win over the Patriots, showcased their ability to grind out games. That performance came on the road, and the Colts will look to bring that same fight to Mile High.

QB Anthony Richardson has been erratic at times, but his dual-threat ability makes him a wild card that’s tough to prepare for. Over his last two games, Richardson has accounted for six total touchdowns (three rushing, three passing) and shown improved decision-making under pressure. The Broncos are riding momentum, but the Colts are no pushovers and getting better than a field goal here with a live pooch is too much value to pass up.
