New Orleans +7 -105 over L.A. Chargers 4:05 PM EST. The Saints will send rookie QB Spencer Rattler out for another start after they were embarrassed 33-10 on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 7. There’s no positive spin on a whopping like that or on the 51-27 drubbing the Saints took from the Buccaneers in Rattler's first start in Week 6. It’s easy to forget now that they’re just 2-5, but the Saints were, at one point, one of the surprise teams of the early season after beginning the year with a 47-10 win over the Panthers in Week 1 and then a 44-19 statement win over the Cowboys in Dallas in Week 2. Since then, it’s been all downhill with the Saints losing five games in a row. Now, with Rattler leading the way, New Orleans' stock is back in the dumper. However, the kid has shown some flashes of brilliance, and he can only go up from here.

With both of these teams coming off Week 7 losses, it’s the Chargers who are by far the more trusted commodity here, with QB Justin Herbert and head coach Jim Harbaugh at the helm. We’ll start with Harbaugh, who, through six games, has led Los Angeles to a 3-3 record after dropping a 17-15 decision to the Cardinals on Monday Night Football. If you watched that game, or any Chargers game this season, you’ve seen Harbaugh’s act on the sidelines, as the dude still thinks he’s at Michigan coaching in the B1G. Never have we seen a coach run up and down the sidelines and flail about like Harbaugh. The question is, is anyone in the Chargers' locker room still listening? Harbaugh’s offense is a conservative one. He coaches like he’s playing the Minnesota Golden Gophers and trying to win 13-3. It’s going to blow up on him real soon and the Saints are in prime position to make that happen.

Scoring points has been an issue for the Chargers, who have won just one of their last four games, with their only win coming in Denver. In losses to Pittsburgh and Kansas City, L.A. could only muster 10 points in each contest to go with the measly 15 they put up in the desert on Monday Night Football. The point is, are the Chargers really worthy of being favored in this range? The answer is a definite “NO”! If you fade the Saints here, you are very late to the “fade the Saints” ticket cashing party.
