Tampa Bay +3½ over Baltimore (No Bets)

8:15 PM EST. We aren’t going to make a wager on this game, but we are committed to providing our analysis for every NFL game, so let’s get right to it. First up is Baltimore, who enters the first game of this Monday Night Football doubleheader on a four-game winning streak after losing the first two games of the year. The Ravens have beaten Washington, Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Dallas over the last month, in addition to their early-season losses to Kansas City and Las Vegas. The Ravens are perennial contenders and have the reigning MVP, Lamar Jackson, under center, so they are going to get a considerable amount of attention from the media and the market any given week.

The Buccaneers are exceeding expectations this season, having gone 4-2, but their results have been a mixed bag over the last month. They have traded wins and losses since Week 2, with victories over the Lions, Eagles, and Saints, while recording losses to the Broncos and Falcons. The Bucs last beat up on the Saints and first-time starter Spencer Rattler, but that lopsided 51-27 result doesn’t carry much weight, especially considering the Saints' less-than-stellar performance on Thursday Night Football in Week 7, where they were whacked by the Broncos, too.

Admittedly, we do not love this game, but if we were forced to make a wager, we’d lean towards the Buccaneers, as this is not an insignificant pile of points for them to be taking back in a standalone, prime-time game at home on Monday Night Football. This is a game they are very capable of winning.
