San Francisco -3½ over Seattle

8:20 PM EST. Enter the disclaimer that we are not wagering on this Thursday Night Football matchup because these games, played on short rest, are often a dumpster fire. That notion is multiplied this week considering the results for these two teams last week, as they both lost outright as the two biggest favorites of Week 5, with the 49ers being -7½ over the Cardinals and the Seahawks laying -6½ to the New York Football Giants.

Both of those losses sting, but only one of these two NFC West rivals was pegged for another run to the Super Bowl, and that was the 49ers. Instead of playing like a contender, San Fran is just 2-3, both Straight Up and Against the Spread, and they have helped decimate survivor pools across the nation this season.

The Seahawks sit atop the NFC West at 3-2, but their wins have come over Denver, New England, and Miami. That win over the Broncos came in rookie QB Bo Nix’s first game, which was on the road in Seattle. The W over the Pats came in OT, and finally, in their 24-3 drubbing of the Dolphins, the Fish were led by backup QB Skylar Thompson. The Seachickens have played one quality outfit this season, and that was the Lions in Week 4, in which they lost 42-29.

We’ll close this one out where we began, which is to say we’re not interested in getting involved in this game. However, while both teams are coming off bad losses, we’ll note the 49ers are taking more heat for blowing another double-digit lead late. We’ve heard more than once that the 49ers have to be crushed after another colossal collapse, while the ‘Chickens are going to be “angry” and “extra motivated” after losing to the G-Men, which is a ridiculous take. It’s impossible to know what is going to motivate whom, especially on a short week. Finally, this number is -3½, which is typically a “favorite” number because it can tempt the market into backing the underdog. If forced to make a pick, we’d back the 49ers, but like we said, we are sitting out this Thursday night cash grab. (No bets)

Pinnacle takes some of the lowest fees on all users’ bets, meaning it’s able to offer some of the best value odds on the market. Compared to other major, well-known sportsbooks, Pinnacle offers superior average odds pricing. Pinnacle’s low betting margins and high betting limits is the best in the biz and will save you thousands of dollars over your betting life.

For instance, a baseball game at most sportsbooks has 20 to 25 cent margins

Arizona     -150

Detroit      +125

That’s a 25 cent margin but at Pinnacle, it’ll be an 9 cent margin (see example)

Arizona       -145

Detroit    +134

If you bet on sports daily, Pinnacle is a must have because of their low margins.
