Arizona +6½ over Buffalo

1:00 PM EST. The media is down on the Bills, but this is not the week to take advantage of that negative perception. As for Buffalo’s prospects, the oddsmakers still like the Bills to win 10 games this season and have them as the fourth-best odds to win the Super Bowl at about +1200, alongside Detroit and Cincinnati. The Bills still have an MVP candidate at QB in Josh Allen, but a young receiving corps surrounds him after Stefon Diggs moved on to greener pastures in Houston. On defense, the Bills were the third best in the league in takeaways in 2023, but turnovers are not a skill and are a luck-based statistic. Even with those turnovers, the Bills’ defense was still a middle-of-the-pack outfit that faced plenty of weak offenses, including the Patriots (x2), Jets (sans Aaron Rodgers), Raiders, Commanders, Giants, Broncos, and Chargers (without Justin Herbert). Spotting what we call an “underdog” number is another strike against the Bills this week.

We might as well get the bold statements out of the way early: the Cardinals are very capable of winning this game, and we’d be very hesitant about taking the Bills in your survivor pools, as they are the second-biggest favorite on the board this week behind the Bengals. Back to the Cards, who are in year two in a new system and have a fully healthy Kyler Murray at the helm. Arizona drafted standout WR Marvin Harrison Jr. in the first round, and they expect big things from tight end Trey McBride in his sophomore season. When Murray returned late in the year, the Cards really started to round into form. They featured a strong rushing attack, finishing in the top 10 in Expected Points Added (EPA) per handoff, and having a dual-threat QB that can get down the field with his giddyup sticks should only allow the Red Birds to build on that. The oddsmakers like the Cardinals to take a step forward in 2024 as well, as they posted the lowest win total in the league prior to 2023, but are now expected to win 7½ games. The Cardinals are off the radar, but they may not be for long.

Pinnacle takes some of the lowest fees on all users’ bets, meaning it’s able to offer some of the best value odds on the market. Compared to other major, well-known sportsbooks, Pinnacle offers superior average odds pricing. Pinnacle’s low betting margins and high betting limits is the best in the biz and will save you thousands of dollars over your betting life.

For instance, a baseball game at most sportsbooks has 20 to 25 cent margins

Arizona     -150

Detroit      +125

That’s a 25 cent margin but at Pinnacle, it’ll be an 9 cent margin (see example)

Arizona       -145

Detroit    +134

If you bet on sports daily, Pinnacle is a must have because of their low margins.
