Tennessee +3 +106 over Green Bay

8:00 PM EST. You think we didn’t see Green Bay beat Dallas? You think we didn’t see that snoozefest in Tennessee last week in which the Titans did nothing and won, which is kind of what they do? The Titans are 6-3 even though they've allowed more points this year than they've scored. Their highest single-game point total of the year is 24, and they haven't hit 20 in a game since Week 5. Tennessee is a fraud and everyone knows it while the entire betting world was waiting for Aaron Rodgers to go off and the week that the Pack were a dog at home to a hot team, the market jumped off the Pack onto the hot team and lost. That creates this week’s biggest zig-zag.

Vegas reported a big liability on Dallas this past weekend in the late window. Man, was Vegas ever happy that the Packers overcame a 14-point fourth quarter deficit and won/covered in OT. Now the Packers look like a gift at home spotting a lousy field goal to a team that cannot move five yards. Everyone knows or thinks they know that the Titans are frauds and we’re not here to argue that. What we will argue, however, is that the Packers are not to be trusted in the favorite role, on a short week no less, after beating Dallas last week in a massive game and with Philadelphia on deck on Sunday Night Football next week. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are very likely going to be a lot less focused here than they were last week, than they will be next week and very likely a lot less focused than the Titans.

You see, despite Tennessee winning ugly and looking like frauds every week, it is as well coached a team as there is in the league -- if you define good coaching as doing more with less. Head coach Mike Vrabel runs a consistent program, and his teams don't beat themselves. Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen is overseeing one of the league's most consistently dominant units -- even Sunday, on a day when they were severely short-handed. Offensive coordinator Todd Downing is perpetually short-handed, but again, his unit is finding a way to score enough points pretty much every week. They're no fun to play against, they’re focused and they usually have a pretty decent edge in a short week because they would run through a wall for their head coach. Full kudos to Vrabel and his staff for consistently putting this team in a position to win and for always being prepared. Remember, before last week, ya’ll wanted nothing to do with the Packers? Keep that thought alive and don’t get caught zig-zagging and buying back the Packers now that their stock is rising again.
