Forgive us if we’re not buying it. James Franklin has built his career on beating up on lesser opponents, but when has Penn State ever delivered in a game of this magnitude? The market is overreacting to one lopsided result and assuming Boise State is another SMU. They’re not. The Broncos are a well-coached, battle-hardened group that has shown they can go toe-to-toe with anyone, as evidenced by their near-upset of Oregon earlier this season.

Boise State enters this game motivated and overlooked—our favorite combination for a live dog. The Broncos have the weapons to keep this one competitive, and with the points in our pocket, we’ll gladly back the underdog to cover.
