7:00 PM EST. These two teams played on Monday night in Atlanta and that game went over the 234½ total in a 121-119 final. For the Hawks, it was the fourth game out of four played this season to go over the total, and for the Wizards it was the second game in a row they went over.

Market perception is that these teams should get right back to their high-scoring ways with this number looking very beatable at 233½, but isn’t it a little shady that oddsmakers have all the information we do and more and still posted a similar total tonight as they did on Monday. It’s worth noting the Wizards shot 48% from three-point land (21-of-44) and the Hawks were up at 38% (15-of-40). Any dip in those percentages tonight this total is going to suddenly look very daunting. Trust us when we tell you the oddsmakers were not sleeping when they posted this total, and they knew that the market was likely to bet it up. If this game doesn’t go under, so be it, but it’s the only option here.
