7:00 PM ET. The Aggies return home riding a six-game winning streak, including an unblemished 3-0 mark on a recent road swing that included wins over Hampton, Delaware, and Towson. Those three programs were all expected to contend this year, but the Aggies dismissed them with a combination of pace and defensive intensity that has eluded this program for years. By contrast, NC A&T boasts superior Pythagorean metrics, suggesting they’ve underachieved while Monmouth has overachieved. Add to that the Aggies’ blistering pace—25th in the nation compared to Monmouth’s 225th—and it’s easy to see why the oddsmakers are favoring the home side. Aggies roll.
