Pacific +7½ over Oregon State

10:00 PM ET. At first glance, Oregon State spotting a touchdown against a 6-13 Pacific team seems like a bargain. The Beavers are 12-5 on the season and one of the nation’s best ATS teams at 12-4. Meanwhile, Pacific just snapped a nine-game losing streak with a miraculous overtime buzzer-beater against Washington State. So why isn’t this line bigger? That’s the question we’re asking, and the answer is where we find value.

Oregon State is coming off a tough overtime loss to Santa Clara, a game in which they led late but couldn’t close. The market won’t punish the Beavers for this, as it appears they gave Santa Clara all they could handle on the road. However, this sets up a prime letdown spot for the Beavers, with Gonzaga looming on Thursday.

Pacific, on the other hand, enters this game as an afterthought. Their recent struggles have kept them off the market’s radar, but their win over Washington State could be a turning point. The Tigers have been far more competitive than their record suggests, and their poor form has created an inflated price here on the Beavers.

Oregon State’s elevated stock, combined with a potential look-ahead spot, makes them vulnerable to an upset. We’re in the business of finding value, and all signs point to Pacific keeping this one close—or potentially stealing it outright.
