2:00 PM EST. Sitting atop the ASun is Kennesaw State with a 13-2 conference mark and an overall record of 21-7. The Owls have their sights set on winning the conference tournament and punching its ticket to the dance. What an accomplishment that would be after this team finished 1-28 in coach Amir Abdur-Rahim’s first season in 2020. To suggest that the Owls stock has never been this high is an understatement but there’s more. You see, on Thursday night Kennesaw State beat Liberty in what is being called their best win in the history of the program. The celebration may still be going on and now just two later in what is a classic letdown spot, the Owls are being asked to cover a number against a pretty good team that few are aware of.

10 of the 14 teams in the Atlantic Sun Conference will qualify for the tournament and Queens is right in the thick of it. Thing is, Queens’ stock is way down after three straight losses overall. More importantly, Queens has failed to cover in five straight and has just one cover over its last nine games. That has their stock at rock bottom and provides us with this great situational spot taking back some inflated points. Queens nine conference losses have all been by single digits, thus, they’ve had a chance in just about every game. They feature an outstanding backcourt and if Kennesaw shows up here with anything other than its “A” game, Queens will easily come in under the number and could even win outright.
