12:30 PM EST. Neither one of these schools is lighting it up at the moment, as they’ve combined for a 0-9 record over their last nine games. With such futility, you might be wondering why we are here, but we’ve dug beyond the surface records to find the value in this game.

The Ramblers are having their worst season in recent memory with a 7-8-1 record with just three trips to the pay window in those 16 games. Perhaps their shuffle to the A-10 from The Valley is the cause for the dip in wins, but we’re not too worried about it. The reality is, Sister Jean and crew have little to do with this play, as we are far more interested in targeting a weak favorite.

The Hawks of St. Joe’s have played one of the weakest non-conference schedules in the nation (305-of-363 ranked sides), which is fine, we guess if you are winning. When you line up cupcakes, you are supposed to knock those sugary sweet snacks back with ease. While the Hawks knocked off dregs like Albany, they also got whacked by the likes of Fairleigh Dickinson, 97-80 among others. We often talk about how paying a weak non-conference schedule will often come back to haunt those who play them come conference play, and that is no different here. St. Joe’s is 0-4 in Atlantic 10 play. The Hawks have come home to roost while the Ramblers stock hasn’t been this low in a very long time. That presents us with this great opportunity.
