Now, they’ll be tasked with picking themselves up just three days later, a tall order for a young team coming off such a dramatic high.

Enter the Utah Jazz, a team few are paying attention to after a humiliating 37-point loss to the Clippers on Monday. Utah sits at the bottom of the Western Conference and will be dismissed by the market as a non-contender here. However, this is precisely the type of team we want to back—low expectations, zero pressure, and a free-rolling mindset. Meanwhile, Detroit’s emotional hangover looms large, as does the potential for a flat effort after Monday’s heroics.

The Pistons’ modest success this season has masked their deficiencies, particularly on defense, where they rank near the bottom of the league.
