Milwaukee -9 over Toronto

8:10 PM EST.The Raptors have little to do with this play, but it should serve us well that their stock is trending upward after three straight wins. We’re not going to take anything away from the Raps for their success, but we will point out that all three of those wins were at home in Toronto. The last time the Raps hit the road, it was not pretty, as they lost four of five games on that trip.

While we normally do not swing such heavy lumber, there are exceptions to every rule. In this case, the Bucks are coming off a most embarrassing loss to the Pacers as a 12-point favorite. Milwaukee is just 2-2 over its last four games, but prior to playing Indiana, the Bucks were as tough as nails against Sacramento, the defending champion Warriors, and the Suns, who are contenders again this season. The Bucks lost an OT thriller to the Dubs but knocked off both the Kings and Suns. Rather than penalize the Bucks for that stinker in Indy, we’re going to chalk it up to a “letdown” spot after that run of playing three Western Conference contenders. With three days to reset, there will be no letdown here. To us, the deflated points look pretty tasty. Let’s eat.
