Not only is the Warriors stock on the rise after that big 144-113 win over the Spurs at the Alamo Dome, but their curb appeal has improved greatly with Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins returning from injury. In that game at the ‘Dome, the Warriors were able to field their best starting five of Curry, Klay Thompson, Wiggins, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney for just the second time since early December. Each got theirs in that 31-point romp, but to expect another lights out night shooting from all five (and the bench) this afternoon would be a bit much.

Situationally speaking, that game at the Alamodome was an event, it was more than just your average regular season game. Dubs sixth man Jordan Poole said, "Really special occasion being able to play in front of the largest crowd in NBA history. Shout out to the NBA, shout out to the Warriors, shout out to the Spurs for putting together an amazing event. I'm glad we got the win." Benchmate Donte DiVincenzo added the event was "cool and surreal." Meanwhile, Curry joked, “It takes 64,000 to bring our best road performance of the year." Those road struggles have been well documented this season, as the Warriors have failed to win back-to-back road games this year. This potential letdown spot and this modest number suggest the Dubs could be in tough today.

By contrast, we backed the Bulls in their last game, a 124-110 home loss to the Thunder, also on Friday night. Nobody likes to get embarrassed, especially at home. Perhaps the Bulls were looking ahead to this game, or perhaps they just had an off night. Regardless, we now get to “stick with it” and back Chicago again tonight in what looks to be a very favorable situational spot. Scoop up the points if you like, but we’re going to back the Bulls to win this game outright.
