N.Y. Mets -1½ over Toronto

7:07 PM EST. David Peterson (LHP - NYY) is coming off a solid outing last Tuesday, where he snagged the win over the Red Sox after allowing just one run over six innings pitched, striking out 11 and walking one. Those 11 strikeouts were a career-high and he also generated a gorgeous 20 swinging strikes among his 89 pitches for a 41% whiff rate and 40% called and swinging strike rate. Peterson has won four straight decisions and he has six quality starts over his last seven starts.

Chris Bassitt will see a red hot Mets' lineup which has been slightly improved in the second half. Bassitt's second half has been a different story. The Toronto hurler owns a 5.98 ERA, 1.41 WHIP since the break. He has only slightly better numbers at home this season (4.78 ERA, 1.46 WHIP). Hard-hit baseballs have been a persistent problem for Bassitt, who is likely headed for the loftiest full-season ERA of his 10-year career.

This is no surprise to us, as we've been suggesting that Bassitt has been walking on water for three years or more. Dude is below average on his best day and now we get the scorching Mets plus a price to win by two or more runs versus an ice-cold Jays' squad.

Pinnacle takes some of the lowest fees on all users’ bets, meaning it’s able to offer some of the best value odds on the market. Compared to other major, well-known sportsbooks, Pinnacle offers superior average odds pricing. Pinnacle’s low betting margins and high betting limits is the best in the biz and will save you thousands of dollars over your betting life.

For instance, a baseball game at most sportsbooks has 20 to 25 cent margins

Arizona     -150

Detroit      +125

That’s a 25 cent margin but at Pinnacle, it’ll be an 9 cent margin (see example)

Arizona       -145

Detroit    +134

If you bet on sports daily, Pinnacle is a must have because of their low margins.
