7:10 PM EST. Kutter Crawford (RHP - BOS) is a risky play today against a Blue Jays side that has hammered out a .795 OPS over their last 15 games. Crawford has had lackluster FpK, walk, and SwK numbers in recent weeks. Mix in a 12% hard-hit rate over his last three starts, and the downside here presents too much risk. Crawford has yet to finish six innings in a start since the break, and he’s worked a career-high 147 innings, which may be catching up with him.

Bowden Francis (RHP - TOR) is coming off a stellar start in which he threw 117 pitches, racking up an eye-popping 12 strikeouts over 8 IP against the Angels last Saturday. Francis has now completed at least seven innings over his last three starts, giving up just five hits and two earned runs across that span. Over his last 33 innings, Francis has a 1.91 ERA/3.14 xERA alongside a 26% K-BB. The Red Sox have cooled off considerably since the break, and they are a weak favorite here.
