6:40 PM EST. Mitch Spence (RHP - OAK) has a surface ERA of 4.67, but his xERA is 3.86, and he’s coming off a 10 K/1 BB performance last Wednesday versus the Rays in which he took a tough-luck loss. Spence was able to generate 16 whiffs from the Tampa bats. Spence also has a nice groundball rate of 47.9%, and he’s very capable of taming a Reds side that has won just three of their last 10 games.

No pitcher is listed yet for the Reds, but that matters not, as they are a team that is on the ropes, and this game is being played in a hitter's park, so rather than play the A’s on the money line, we're going for the kill and will take Oakland on the reverse run line (-1½).
