In this series vs. the Tigers, the White Sox have been outscored 14-5, losing games on both Friday and Saturday, and the only reason they didn’t lose last Thursday was because they didn’t play. If he were on any other team, Cannon may have been moved to the bullpen by now, but the White Sox are playing out the string, so the leash on Cannon (who now has 4.70 xERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 59/24 K/BB through 86.2 innings) is long enough to hang himself.
