In his last turn on Monday vs. the Angels, he pitched seven innings of one-run ball, racking up 8 Ks with no walks. In his last three starts, Francis has allowed five runs on 10 hits and two walks with 17 strikeouts across 17.2 innings.

Meanwhile, Shota Imanaga (LHP - CHC) did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing seven runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk over 5 IP vs. Cleveland, where he struck out just three. The long ball was Imanaga’s undoing again, as he gave up two bombs, which is the fifth time in 22 starts he’s given up multiple HRs. The Jays are the third most disciplined team in the bigs vs. LHP.
