Milwaukee over L.A. Dodgers

8:10 PM EST. Freddy Peralta (LHP - MIL) is 2-1 with a 2.63 ERA in five career starts against the Dodgers. Peralta has had his ups and downs this season, but he’s still striking out hitters at a high clip with 155 Ks in 125.1 IP while posting a strong swing-and-miss rate of 13.5%.

Clayton Kershaw (LHP - LAD) has not been sharp in his three starts to date, throwing a maximum of 83 pitches and putting up a 4.82 xERA. Kershaw has yet to reach 5 IP in any of his three starts thus far, and he tossed over 80 pitches in his last two turns (83 in 4.2 IP against the Phillies & 81 in 3.2 IP against the Padres). In his limited time since returning from injury, Kershaw has a 1.62 WHIP in 12.1 IP, and the opposing Brewers should provide a stern challenge, as they are averaging 6.8 runs per game in August, where they have a .850 OPS.
