Bradley is now a lucky 13 starts back into his promising career this season since returning from that injury, and thus far, there is much to like. He has 90 Ks in 75.1 IP with 26 BBs and is coming off pitching seven scoreless innings vs. the Yankees on Saturday, where he allowed just one hit and sat down the final 11 Yankees hitters. That was the second straight seven-inning scoreless gem Bradley has pitched, and he has given up two or fewer runs in eight straight starts.

Chris Bassitt (RHP - TOR) could be considered trade fodder for the Blue Jays, as just about every player in their clubhouse, but he’s going to have to pick up his game if a contender is going to give him a look. Bassitt is an innings eater, but those innings have not been kind to him of late, as he’s now given up 12 ER over his last three starts, which covers 16.2 IP. In his first start post-All-Star break, Bassitt was saddled with the loss to the Tigers on Saturday, where he gave up five runs on seven hits over 6.2 IP. Bassitt now has an xERA of 4.22, which is higher than his surface number (3.71), and he’s got an inflated 1.42 WHIP that has seen him walk 46 in 114 innings. His strikeouts are down, his swing & miss is at a six-year low (a puny 8.1%). Wrong side favored.
