Washington over N.Y. Mets

7:10 PM EST. Jake Irvin (RHP - WAS) is coming off eight scoreless innings and a win over the Mets last Thursday where he allowed just one hit and punched out eight. It was one of the best starts in a series of damn good ones for Irvin, who generated 15 whiffs on 47 swings (32%) and posted a stellar 38% called and swinging strike (CSW%) rate.

In that same game, Jose Quintana (LHP - NYM) also pitched, coming off a shutout (7 IP), but his performance was not as impressive as that stat line would have you believe, as he walked three and struck out just one. Quintana also posted a weak 17% whiff rate and a weak 23% CSW%. On the year, Quintana has a bloated xERA of 5.34 with just 66 Ks to 32 BBs in 89.2 IP, and he’s not fooling anyone with his weak swing-and-miss rate of 7.5%. Dude should be considered fade fodder anytime he is favored, and we’re putting that to the test today.

Pinnacle takes some of the lowest fees on all users’ bets, meaning it’s able to offer some of the best value odds on the market. Compared to other major, well-known sportsbooks, Pinnacle offers superior average odds pricing. Pinnacle’s low betting margins and high betting limits is the best in the biz and will save you thousands of dollars over your betting life.

For instance, a baseball game at most sportsbooks has 20 to 25 cent margins

Arizona     -150

Detroit      +125

That’s a 25 cent margin but at Pinnacle, it’ll be an 9 cent margin (see example)

Arizona       -145

Detroit    +134

If you bet on sports daily, Pinnacle is a must have because of their low margins.
